Membership: All meetings were
held at the times posted. The locals' agenda was
read, as "items of corrections" to the Collective Bargaining Agreement,
article by article. Questions were fielded by the negotiation committee
members and a motion was made seconded and passed after each session to approve
the corrections that were shown and explained and to allow the Negotiation
Committee the power to refuse any and all offers that don't meet these
expectations and accept none. This is so they can eliminate the need to bring
sub-par contract proposals to the floor for membership approval or ratification,
until the minimum requirements are met.
