Dear USW Local 608/712 and IBEW 73 Members

As of August 19, 2010 we have been meeting with the Companies negotiators since the 16^th and are continuing to address non-economic items off both our agendas.  We have made significant moves in these areas; but have not finished them as of yet.  Economic items won’t be brought to the table until all of the non-economics ones are completely finished. 

 We are diligently striving to attain a fair and equitable agreement for the membership.  Remember to not fuel the rumor-mill… it is not the full truth if it doesn’t come to you through the C.A.T. Team.  We are still striving to have everyone give their email addresses to the C.A.T. so they may forward updates on the negotiations direct to your homes or cell phones. 

 We are still on schedule to continue meeting through next week, and will pass on any important updates as they present themselves.  As always, work safely, think ahead, think involvement, and think unified...Solidarity Forever!
